As those debates play out, some content creators are building major followings with AI video, betting it will play a major role in the future of entertainment.
I spoke with Nic Farish, the creator behind Kim the Gorilla, a TikTok account featuring an AI-generated vlogging gorilla that has more than 9 million likes. Farish, 37, who is based in Dallas, is creative director for a popular YouTube gaming channel by day but stays up for hours every night creating Kim’s world using AI video tools.
