Nvidia results fuel relief rally as valuation, policy risks loom

Relief was evident in global markets after the US tech giant gave a strong revenue forecast and pushed back on the view that the AI industry is in a bubble.
Shares of Nvidia jumped 5.3% in premarket, making up about a third of the 1.2% gain for S&P futures. Benchmarks in South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan rose as Nvidia suppliers led the charge.
AI infrastructure spending still has momentum and provides clarity for those assessing whether to carry exposure “into next year,” said Gary Tan, a portfolio manager at Allspring Global Investments.
