An article that ran in The Guardian on November 21, 2024, has been regurgitated by AI-generated “news” sites with names like “WECB Radio Emerson College” (nope), Rude Baguette, Unión Rayo, Daily Express U.S., and on and on.

(María Hjálmtýsdóttir’s original article in The Guardian does not mention “Gen Z” at all, and I have no idea why all the AI-generated sites do.)

“These sites appear to be part of a new wave of AI-generated content farms that swoop in to seize dormant domains,” Ben Paviour wrote.
