I’ve spent most of my eight years covering technology trying to win back my off-hours time and attention from my smartphone.
Despite how indispensable our phones have become (for much more than making calls), they’re also a massive source of distraction. I’m not proud of the number of nights I’ve spent on my couch on TikTok or doomscrolling.
It’s not just me, either. The impact our phones have had on our attention span is of increasing concern.
On the bright side, there’s no shortage of potential solutions.
