Apple’s new Siri AI represents a make-or-break moment for founders

INC.   —   Craig Federighi spent a good portion of Apple’s latest keynote describing a Siri that the company has been promising—and delaying—for two years.

Rebuilt from the ground up and running on a new architecture, the assistant Apple now calls Siri AI can hold a back-and-forth conversation, pull a hotel confirmation out of an old email, and take action across apps without being walked through every step.

But while many will likely welcome the new Siri, some founders may be uneasy as they watch Apple build versions of their products into its operating system one feature at a time.
