HISD expands number of AI-focused schools for the school year

HOUSTON CHRONICLE — Superintendent Mike Miles has accelerated his plans for what he calls "Future 2" schools that he says will prepare students for a future where "AI will be ubiquitous."
A separate, Tuesday statement by HISD indicates the district wants Future 2 Schools to expand on the foundation of NES reforms "to include critical thinking, problem-solving, real-world experiences, and the ability to navigate an increasingly complex, technology-driven world."
