Mass layoffs are reshaping the tech industry—Which side will you take?

INC. — Over the last four years, an estimated 900,000 to 1.2 million tech employees have been laid off (handy tracker), fired from tech stalwarts as old and musty as Amazon and Meta to newer, more disruptive players like Block and Bolt.
All of them, to a CEO, claim they’re “making room for AI,” which may or may not be 100 percent true.
