Vibe coding is coming to your phone

THE VERGE — For starters, Google is making it easier to just straight up vibe-code a whole Android app. At I/O the company announced an update to its AI Studio vibe-coding tool, allowing you to create a native Android app and export it to a phone in a matter of minutes.
The feature is limited to “personal utility” apps to start with, and the rules for putting an app on the Play Store remain the same. But if you’re the kind of person looking for a particular feature from a habit tracking app that none of them seem to offer, you might just be able to build it yourself.
