VARIETY — Singapore-based studio Edenstone has revealed "Spore Fall," a human-written, AI-realized microdrama series.
The sci-fi project introduces a hybrid production model in which human-authored scripts and narratives are brought to life through AI-generated visuals, targeting mobile-first audiences globally. Episodes run under three minutes each.
Set in the fictional city of Lionara, the series centers on a disillusioned soldier and a rogue medic forced into an unlikely alliance after an infected man develops abilities that could accelerate human evolution - or trigger its end. A deadly spore pathogen outbreak serves as the backdrop, suppressed by an authoritarian regime.
