FTC says OkCupid shared user data with AI firm Clarifai, then tried to cover it up

HOUSTON CHRONICLE — OkCupid allegedly allowed a third party to access the data of millions of users despite it being against the Privacy Policy, according to the Federal Trade Commission.


The agency announced Monday that it reached a settlement with OKCupid, operator Humor Rainbow and owner Match Group Americas. Other dating apps in Match Group's portfolio include Tinder and Hinge.
