WALL STREET JOURNAL — A new viral dating show featuring sexy, cheating fruit could be proof that AI content can actually captivate viewers.
“Fruit Love Island” is loosely based on the original “Love Island,” reality series, where singles compete for love and money at a secluded villa. But these contestants are colorful, and confusingly buff, AI fruit characters.
From the moment the scantily clad fruits, including Grapenzo the grape, Bananito the banana, Cherrita the cherry and Pinapina the pineapple roll into the villa, they’re kissing, crying, cheating and even throwing some punches.
